Help getting to the airport in Rome FCO

Hi. I've finally settled on an apartment near Piazza Farnesi for our trip to Rome next May. I'm looking into transportation to the airport for our return flight to the US. The owner of our apartment offered arrange a private car to FCO for $70. She said there was an extra fee for our very early flight out. (6:30am). Does this sound reasonable ? Or should I try calling for a cab the night before our flight. Thanks in advance!

I would be more comfortable with a reservation made ahead of time. We have used an individual named Domenico a few times for transportation to/from FCO and Rome. Most recent was 3 years ago and price on a Monday morning was 45 Euros. [email protected]

I used Rome Shuttle Limousine this past May to transfer from my hotel to Fiumicino. The rate was €45 payable at the time of service by credit card. The driver arrived early in an immaculate Mercedes sedan. I think I left the hotel around 7:00 a.m.
