Whether to stay on Paros or Antiparos depends upon what your priorities are. Stay on Paros if you plan to fill your days sightseeing, or Antiparos if you want to relax in an idyllic setting. You can still easily get back to Paros for sightseeing if you stay on Antiparos. On my first trip to Paros I took a day trip to Antiparos, and was so captivated by the island that I checked out of my Paros hotel the next morning and moved to AP. Mid-June is absolutely the perfect time to be on Antiparos.
I always have mixed feelings when making these recommendations, because now the island has been "discovered" with stories in the media about celebs who stay there, more people are coming to Antiparos. Being protective of my favourite island, I usually send people to Naxos.

To be frank, I was disappointed with Santorini. I treasured my visit to the Museum of Prehistoric Thira and was glad to see Acrotiri. Unfortunately, I didn’t find anything else on Santorini that was worthy of the hype. I had a room with a terrace that afforded glorious views of the caldera, a terrace from which I enjoyed sipping wine as the sun set. But much as I enjoyed it, I’ve enjoyed better views elsewhere. And I found the crowds on Santorini truly off-putting. I dont regret going – it was on my wish list, and no one else’s input would have made me change my mind – so I suspect my input is also going to count for naught (as, perhaps, it should). JMO.

Paros Place to Stay
Narrowed choices to Saint Andrea or Kanale. Any suggestions? Also, ideally, would love to find a nice B&B with a room with balcony overlooking ocean close to Naoussa.

Don't know either Saint Andrea or Kanale, but they both look good from what I can find on the internet. According to the map Kanale is near the center of Naoussa, while Saint Andrea is a 20 min walk into town.

We had a great stay at Saint Andrea. The pool area is wonderful as is the buffet breakfast. We took a taxi into town each night for dinner. The ride takes about 5 minutes and costs somewhere in the area of 5 - 7 euros. The hotel manager, Nikos, is incredibly friendly and helpful.

How about Stella mare? It gets good reviews and is less expensive. We are not pool/resort goers (that is we like a nice room with a terrace but don't spend a lot of time at the hotel during the day as we are usually out exploring.

From what I've heard Stelia Mare would be a good choice, and it's close to the harbour and old town. Like you I don't spend much time in the hotel, so location is important to me. I've been to Naoussa many times on day trips, but haven't actually stayed in a hotel there.
