<i> Help - Dutch website payment with transfer

I haven't made a USA to EU bank transfer in a few years. Everything written here is the same as I experienced.

For your situation I would put a $10 bill in an envelope and mail it to the tour company. They should get at least &euro;8.50 after commission. Your marginal cost is &euro;1.00 plus a stamp. Safety? I have mailed a Bennie to Paris as a hotel deposit. It was waiting there for me when I arrived.

P.S. Go to your bank and get the freshest Hamilton they have. Europeans do not like grimy old banknotes.

hetismij, we have tickets to the Bosch exhibiton March 24. Will probably arrive the night before, so 2 nights there. Leaving for Antwerp on the 25th for a day or two, then back to Amsterdam.

Hi all. After setting up an xe account, and sending another email (or two) to the tour site, I learned that I can pay in cash prior to the tour. Which I will do!

Thanks, all.

Did you see that the Bosch Research group identified a painting that was mostly kept in storage (!) in the Kansas City Art Museum as an authentic Bosch?

Glad you sorted it out.
Yes I saw the news of the "new" Bosch.

PhillyFan, Just want to thank you for starting this thread. I remember reading something about this exhibit but it slipped my mind, like many things do.....;-) and Bosch is one of my faves.

So now I am planning a quick trip to see it in about three weeks.

I am looking forward to seeing the restorations - it's amazing how wonderful paintings become after that. I know I have seen The Garden of Earthly Delights and it's just so bright now.....I first saw it decades ago and it was quite different, I am pretty sure. (I know it's not going there for this.)

Hope you and the others going enjoy.
