Help...Cheap Tickets to Italy from pennsylvania area
I posted previously and got some help. the best recommendation was to fly into london and then from there to rome or some other city. as you can all probably tell i have never done this but i am slightly ahead of my parents because i know where to look(somewhat). anyone want to act as my travel agent? just kidding, but if anyone has any siggestions on how to buy the tickets or what airlines are cheapest, shoot away. they aren't looking for a luxurious flight, just to get there. connections don't matter either.

I posted on your other thread also, but yes, I would be willing to help you - - can we do it here "in public"? How would your parents feel about spending one night (or more) in England? - - coming, or going, or both?
Not a requirement - - but might make the trip a little more tolerable, if they actually have any interest in a night or two in England.
Likewise, Brussels needs to be considered too. Cheap Brussels connections are back all over Europe. See www.europebyair.com for details about having a big new deal with SN-Brussels to 33 new destinations - - literally everywhere!
And be sure to seek advice from don on the cheap flights forum of www.eurotrip.com also.
Best wishes,
Rex

A question from someone else prompted me to look more closely at this new offering from SN-Brussels - - www.brussels-airlines.com - - and there really are a lot of very good promotional fares - - with special emphasis on low summer fares connecting Vienna, much of France (but not Paris), Spain and Scandinavia to almost everywhere in Europe. Africa too.
It's like Sabena is back - - but as a new low-cost airline.

Kevin - I don't know how close to Canada you are, but you should check out trips from Canada if it's feasible. Our dollar is so-o-o-o bad compared to the U.S. right now I don't know why all Americans arn't flocking to our airports. Prices are almost always better to European destinations and you guys can knock 40% off whatever you get as the best deal. Think about it. You could spend a fabulous weekend in Toronto with the change you'd get back!!
