HELP - can't find any accomodations

Hi everyone
I've been jotting down notes and trying my best to learn all these italian names (hotels/restaurants, etc).

We're planning on Rome-Amalfi Coast-Tuscany

I'm searching for accomodations, and so far everything I've checked (end of September through early october) is booked.

For Tuscany - I fell in love with the Laconda Amorosa but it's booked. Does anyone know of something equivalent to this for roughly the same price?

We're willing to splurge a little on the pricing for the Tuscany lodging since that will be our last destination.

For Rome - I haven't checked yet but if there are specific recommendations, I'll take them.

For Almafi - was looking at Positano/Ravello but can't find anything within walking distance to beach, with view (with availability).

Help PLEASE!
About Tuscan try to Castello di Capraia, is far from Siena 15 kilometres, I was there three weeks ago. It is an interesting place.
The staff is good, and it's not expansive.
http://www.castellodicapraia.it
Best wishes.
Barbara.

Try www.venere.com. It is a booking service for Italy with dates available etc. We have had some luck with them. Good luck and don't worry...you will find something wonderful.
Jan

I recommend Hotel Des Artistes in Rome. We stayed there last November & the staff was nice & gave us assistance whenever needed. Rooms were great & they had their own bathrooms. Their website is a little hookie, but don't let that persuade you. The hotel was also in a good location near the Central Train Station.

For Rome, try Casa Howard at www.casahoward.com for further details, or the Hotel San Gregoriana or the Hotel Parlamento. Can't lose with any of these three.

Buon Viaggio,
BC
