Help! Bookmarks
 

Sorry for the dumb question .. but how do we go about bookmarking on Fodors? Thanks!

Creating bookmarks for specific Fodors threads might depend on your computer's operating system and browser.
I use WinXP and Explorer 6.
When I want to bookmark a specific thread , I place my cursor on the TITLE of the thread .
Then I right click, on the title and a menu appears.
I select' add to favorites'. A pop up window appears with the name of the specific thread listed and I add that thread to my pre-created folder which I call " Fodors' Goodies". You ,of course ,can call your folder whatever you like. :-)

Just another tip - Sometimes threads disappear. It could be because someone gets nasty, or it could be because a user asks to have their account totally obliterated. On the US board, many, many posts were lost when a Chicago expert had all of hers deleted and much info is now gone.

So, if there's something that you really want to keep for the long term, consider starting a Word (or other word processor) document to copy and paste the text into.
