Help-best Britain travel plan?

I am travelling with my parents in the spring - we want to go to London (few days) and to various places in Scotland (approx 1 week). We also love Paris and would love to try the Eurostar from London to Paris, enjoy a few days there and then head home to Toronto for a trip of about two weeks altogether. Ideally we'd like to start in Scotland, go to London, then Paris and home - any thoughts would be most welcome. Also, I can't seem to find a direct flight from Toronto to Scotland - does anyone know if this is possible?
Thanks so much for all your help.

In addition, you can take many of the airlines mentioned by AlanRow back to Toronto from Paris, so you could have an easy open-jaw flight.

McCooper,
It's possible but don't even dream about seeing Scotland in a week. Choose a favourite region, spend some time there, and I guarantee you'll come back soon.

Thank you all for your suggestions! I will check them all out and go from there.
Thanks again,
Laura
