Help 6 days nothing to do !
 

Strange circumstances have left me with 6 days in England/ Northern Europe with no idea what to do. Could any of you suggest what I should do with 6 days ? I like the UK and have spent time in Ireland, France and Italy but was wondering if anyone had some creative ideas for me? <BR><BR>thanks in advance <BR>

We may need a few more details to be able to help Jeffrey, in particular where abouts in northern Europe will you will be - Russia? Scandinavia? That will have a lot of bearing on people's ability to help. Also where will you be flying in & out of, would you be willing to hire a car etc?<BR>Happy planning...:-)

Sorry.... <BR><BR>Actually I will be arriving at heathrow.. Other than that no plans but I am an experienced plane, train, car traveller in Europe so going somewhere else is fine.. I guess I am trying to figure out if staying in England is likely to be better than travelling to somewhere else

Depending on the time of year, how about Scotland? maybe somewhere a bit off the beaten track like Orkney and Shetland or the Outer Hebrides.<BR><BR>The scenery is superlative and (she said modestly) the people very welcoming.<BR><BR>Come on down
