Help!! 40th birthday big villa
 

Hi , I need help with a large villa , 9/10 bedrooms for my best friends 40th birthday. She was going to ignore this birthday but we've persuaded her to celebrate ., hence the last minute rush!!!Weekend September 21st - 24th, all locations in Europe considered. We love Almiral de la font outside Barcelona and Chateau L'artigolle nr Toulouse but both are booked. We want a stylish house , a pool ,catering options and decent proximity to an airport. I have been looking for 4 days and am having real difficulty .Fodorites please help!!!!

I know lots of villas that meet your needs - - problem is... they rent for 39th birthday, or 41st birthday - - but not for 40th birthday!

But I jest... the key here is that you are looking for a 3 or 4 day rental, which is actually part of
TWO (Saturday-Saturday) weeks...

...and this key difficulty is what should be in your message header...

"Seeking assistance for 9/10 bedroom villa for only a weekend, on EXTREMELY short notice" - - in the (unlikely) event that someone here can think of a villa owner who would meet your very unusual request (during prime season), a mere five weeks away from now!

This might be of help. www.cottages4you.co.uk lists all types of rentals (including villas, not just cottages) in several countries. It lists a lot of villas in Italy. I just looked up three that might meet your needs and they are available; if the site is up-to-date. Example: Villa Montecerconi, near Siena, sleeps 19, has a pool, etc. Most are weekly, but some rent for shorter periods.
