HELP
 

Me and my boyfriend can only get vacation time in Feb. we really want to go somewhere in Europe but we hear the weather isn't the best anyone have any suggestions on where to go this time of year that would be around this caliber? Thanks<BR>

The only place you are guaranteed to get good weather in Europe in Feb is on the Canary Islands off the African coast (Tenerife, Furetentura, Gran Canaria and Lanzarote). Tenerife is probably your best bet, and then mainly in the south - although even here has its lowest annual temperatures in Feb. How about using the low winter temps to your advantage and go skiing in the Alps? Even if you dont ski, you can enjoy the apr&eacute;s ski in the resorts. Other than that go on a multi city break where its not as important to get good weather, but spring is earlier in the south such as Rome - but again temperatures will be low.

You are correct in stating that weather is not the best in February, but temps. are not bad for general sightseeing in southern Eurupe. Daytimes are often in the 50's and 60's in coastal Greece and its islands, Italy from Rome south and in Spain in Andalucia (Seville, Cadiz, etc.) These all would make a good vacation destination.

Why not go somewhere that has lots to do indoors as well as outdoors? My first trip to Paris was in Dec and my first trip to London was in Feb and I had a great time on both trips. Both cities have a lot of museums, art galleries, shopping, etc. Plus it's typically not so cold or rainy that you can't enjoy the outside sites as well. <BR><BR>And as a bonus you will likely get great airfares and hotel rates!
