Well - in fact you do have an itinerary - you just listed it.

If you mean that you don;t know what you want to do in those places - then how/why did you pick them?

Suggest you get a couple of guide books and read them very fast.

Even faster:
Click on Destinations (top of this page)
Click on Europe
Click on Rome, then Venice, then Athens, then Mykonos...
For each of those, find "Fodors Choice", or "Sights", or "Walking tour"...etc
Now you have a sightseeing itinerary.

HI
for organizing routes that make sense, or itineraries for sightseeing, click at the top of this screen for Destinations, Fodors has suggestions.
So does frommers.com and any guidebook.
You ARE taking a guidebook, yes?
And maps of Rome, Venice and Athens?

You don't mention at all what interests you or what made you pick those cities. Museums? Historical sights?

Your header doesn't aid your cause, every question on this forum is pretty much about 'help' for something.

How about reposting with a better heading (to attract Italy and Greece experts) such as
Need itineraries: short stays in Rome,Venice,Athens

In the text area of your new message, you might mention what you might like to see--the Vatican Museums? The Colosseum? The Acropolis?

just curious...
1. how long ago did you know you'd be going to these places?
2. why did you choose these particular places?
Thanks...

If you only make note of one sentence in this thread, let it be this one:

Get good maps, and a guidebook.

No one requires you to know ahead of time what you want to do in each city (unless you find you want to go to a sight that has limited ticketing). Some people just love waiting until they arrive and then planning each day at breakfast. However, the advice to make sure you have a map and at least one guidebook is good.

My suggestion: Each of you (assume there are two?) come up with ONE thing in each city that you would be severely disappointed not to see, and maybe one thing that's on list B. You don't have a huge amount of time anywhere, so it's not worth coming up with long lists. It won't take you long to skim the Fodor's Destination page for each city to find the one or two things you want to do.

After that, see what strikes you once you get there. As for Mykonos -- just enjoy!

I booked my honeymoon at the end of march. But I have been in the midst of law school finals and a full time job and my husband is graduating dental school. We had yet to plan the details. And now the trip is here.
We plan on just relaxing in Mykanos. I will do Fodors searches on both the other cities.

Hi Lolley, you have posted twice, I just responded to your other post. No fault of yours as Fodors does not make this board user friendly. But just so you know, when you post a question and if you cannot find it, just click on your name and your thread will come up. My wishes for a happy honeymoon and life to you both!
