It sure is nice to hear from all of you.
As to some of your questions:
Yes, unfortunately, the term Strumpet and even Tart, have all too often been applied to some of my "Dates". Please keep this news from my "little wife" as she still labors under the illusion that I was an innocent choir boy before I fell under her intense love spell.
Yes, a fine plump ham and an icy cold six pack would have been a rare blessing to have had in that part of the world. A few thick slabs of bacon would have also been nice.
Oh yes, the lovely Lady in the Red Dress - that was truly a blessed night to remember. But please stop black mailing me with those pictures! and just how did you take those cursed things at such an odd angle?
It was only two? I would have thought it was three or four with all the screams and thrashing about that went on!

Degas, I'm so glad you are back. I have missed all the good travel advice you have given us. The most useful advice you ever gave me was to keep candy bars with me when I travel because the wrappers come in handy when you encounter a bathroom without paper. What an innovative idea, and one I never read in any guidebook. Welcome back.

Degas, though I am most relieved to hear from you, I realize it may be difficult for you to post in again soon, given what I believe to be your location. I will definitely keep watching bookshelves as well as samples I receive from publishing companies for your guide, though. I know it will tell us what no one in that region thinks we tourists should know!
Fondest regards,
BC

I would so much rather picture Dear Degas relaxing in a hammock, between two palm trees with his little drink with the umbrella in it..or strolling down the Blvd St Germain window shopping...
I send best wishes and bigbig hopes that you get back to Georgia or at least the USA where you belong...soon!

Great to hear from you. Your writing is even more humorous; I was laughing out loud.
I hope you can drop in occasionally to update us on your current diet and perhaps advise us about accomodations and the all-important correct attire.
Take care.

Scarlett, now that I have lost some weight, I'll give the hammock a try since there is less risk of me uprooting those palm trees.
BC, the book idea is appealing, but it might take forever with me pecking away with two fingers.
