Hellenic Seaways quick question

First time poster, appreciate all the information about Greece.

Can anyone tell me how I pickup my ticket for Flying Cat 4 travel from Santorini to Crete. I purchased online and it says pickup at port.

Sorry this must seem so obvious but does that mean Santorini will have a ticket office? What time should I arrive for a 5:45 PM departure. Thank you.

Their web site under Information has a list of agents, including on Santorini.

In the center of Fira, on the right at the corner where the road from Oia turns left (downhill alongside the main square) on its way to the bus square, you can pick up your ticket at Pelican Travel. If you have your ticket in hand, you can arrive at the port just before departure. There's no check-in like on a plane. Seats are assigned so there's no first-come-first-served situation on the FlyincCat.

Thank you both. I can't seem to find the other agents but will try Pelican. Do you think I could get it at an Athens agency too, as I will be there first.

Do these get crowded? Last minute pickup at the port in Santorini possible too?

If you're arriving in Athens by plane you can get them at the airport from Amphitrion Holidays' trave office in the Main Hall.

Yes, you can pick them up at the port, but if you plan to be there between now and the end of August it'll be very crowded and hot and so be sure you're there at least an hour before departure and be prepared to stand in line.

Thank you, bortherlelove
That would be perfect. I have already bought my tix-do the travel agents charge a fee for issuing?

Yes, but it is very small, less than one euro.
