helicopter tour of London?

I am considering splurging on a helicopter tour of London -- has anyone ever done this? Is it worth the splurge? Any recommendations on companies to use?

Just don't fly over my house on a Sunday afternoon - we get enough helicopters as it is.

I wouldn't waste the money. Whilst London does have a great skyline, and I'd imagine would look good from the air going along the Thames - go on the London eye, climb Tower Bridge, etcetera.

Views won't be that wonderful, you'll be disapointed, and it's not cheap. Treat yourself to dinner somewhere special instead!

If you have time head up to Hampstead Heath for some great views and beautiful walks. Don't miss Kenwood House whilst you are there if you like old masters.

Thanks for the insight . . . I understand where you're coming from, but my fiance would love to experience a helicopter flight. Of course, he also loves food (maybe somewhere in Hampstead), so I'll mull it over a bit more!
