Heathrow, Uk airport to Waterloo Station for Eurostar to Paris
Looking for a convenient way to get from the Airport to the Eurostar to Paris without cost of an arm and a leg. Arriving London mid morning, week day. I know Eurostar leaves from the Waterloo station.

There's another current thread on this exact same thing except in the opposite direction - flying into Paris but destination is London.
Have you considered flying from LHR to Paris? Current one way fares on BA for as low as £44.50. |
If you wish to fly, BMI has even cheaper fares from Heathrow to CDG. Book online at www.flybmi.com ASAP for the cheapest tickets.
But the Eurostar is a fun and relaxing way to go. If you're traveling light and don't mind schlepping your luggage, take the tube from LHR to Waterloo: Piccadilly line from LHR to Piccadilly Circus, then Bakerloo line to Waterloo. Cost: 4.00 GBP. Time: one hour. |
To answer your question directly:
The most convenient (and pretty well the only completely stair-free) route is the Heathrow Express to Paddington, then the Bakerloo Line tube to Waterloo. 40 mins from the time the train leaves Heathrow to the time you're walking up to the WAterloo barrier. Slightly longer and cheaper by taking the Heathrow Connect (flagged at LHR as going to Ealing Broadway, but actually going to Paddington), then the tube. To avoid stairs, don't take the tube entrance opposite the platform the Heathrow Connect arrives at: take the escalator in front of the Yo Sushi! |
Thanks All!
