Heathrow to Hounslow...

I will be arriving at LHR at 7am. I expect to be ready to leave at 9am.
I will have 2 LARGE suitcases AND one small carry-on briefcase. Approx 100 pounds total. I cannot carry these bags, they must be rolled. I can probably manage a few stairs, but not in extremely busy areas as it will be a slow-go.
I can easily manage these bags if I have elevators (no stairs) and it's not a big deal to walk with them since they roll. The heaviest bag will be dropped off at my corporate office in Hounslow. So, I will need to get from Heathrow to Hounslow which is only a stop away.
I guess my question is this... Is there many stairs from the Heathrow terminals to the tube? How much would a cab cost from LHR to Hounslow. The office is just a short walk from the tube... across from the Safeway.
I'd prefer to take the tube. From what I recall, there are stairs to navigate at the Hounslow exit, but I think I can manage that...
Just in case, can anyone guess at the cost of a cab from LHR to Hounslow?
I would appreciate any advice offered!

Oh, lordy --- take a cab! :)

The walk to the tube station at LHR alone would kill me off if I had 100+ lbs of luggage. It is a looooong walk.

And which terminal are you using? That could make things even worse.

heck - why can't someone from your office come collect you and your luggage???

janisj,
That would be lovely, but I just don't have that kind of relationship with any of them.
They would tell me to take a cab :)
I am tempted to do so, I would just like an idea of the cost of a cab to Hounslow.
Once I drop off that bag, I am headed to the Jumeirah Carlton and I will have that afternoon to enjoy the area, thank Goodness!

There aren't any steps at Heathrow, though getting lots of bags onto the escalators at T1-3, or through the barriers at T4, is a messy business

A cab off the rank at Heathrow will be £15-£20. The poor bloke will, after he's been in the waiting area at the airport and paid the usage charge, bge losing money so give him a decent tip.

Dump one of the bags in left luggage (£6), buy a travelcard, then go to your office by Tube, then return to Heathrow, collect bag...
