Heathrow to Covent Gardens

What is the easiest way for 4 adults to get from Heathrow to Covent Gardens? We're arriving in at about 9:30 AM. About how long should it take us to get out of the airport-customs, immigration and all?Looking for comfort and ease. One person is not a seasoned traveler. EVeryone will have wheelie cases.

Tube direct from airport to Covent Garden (no "S"). Unless things have changed the station has a lift so there's no problem with luggage

Picadilly Line Underground is pretty simple and inexpensive -- 4 GBP per adult one-way, though it requires a good bit of walking from Heathrow Terminal 3 (where I arrived) to the Terminals 1, 2 & 3 Tube station. There are elevators or escalators that help avoid stairs. Signs point the way through LHR to the Picadilly Line. Allow about 45 minutes from LHR tube station to Covent Garden. There are alternatives that others will surely offer, but probably none that are cheaper.

It took me about 45 minutes to get through customs at Terminal 3 at 8:30 a.m. on a Thursday in May.

Are the tube and the undeground the same thing or are they different train lines?

If you're traveling light, I also recommend taking the tube. If you want an advance look at the route, go to www.tfl.gov.uk to download and print a tube map for central London.

The tube and underground are simply different names for the London subway system. Each line has a different name. The Piccadilly line goes directly from Heathrow to Covent Garden.
