Heathrow help
I will be flying into Heathrow (Terminal 5) in late March and arriving at 6:30am from the East Coast of the US.. I'm part of a group that will be visiting in the Kent area but everyone is flying separately and most are arriving on a 10:30am flight. I need to wait for the others but I'm looking for things to keep me occupied and awake until everyone gets there.
I wanted to have a spa treatment and searched the website and found a number of interesting places but they are all BEHIND security. Since I will go thru Customs & Passport Control I will be OUTSIDE of security. Any suggestions on what a woman in mid-60s can do for those hours while waiting for friends? \ Thanks in advance. |
You could go to Sofitel which is attached to Terminal 5 and have a nice breakfast there. We've stayed there several times, nice spot. Check their website; maybe they have a spa, don't recall.

Unless you qualify for the BA arrivals lounge, the Sofitel is really the best/only comfortable option.
|
The Sofitel does have a spa.
|
Thanks for the suggestions; I will check out the Sofitel and what it takes to get into the BA arrival lounge.

If you happen to have Priority Pass, you'll be able to use it to access the Club at the Sofitel... or some Arrivals lounges at Heathrow.
