Sorry i didn't keep my promise - we went to South of France for a few very hot days, so lost my thread [not quite literally]. Now we're back, anyone got any particular queries about Cornwall?
On the weather front, we're now into the "season of mists and mellow fruitfulness", but it's still warm enough for walking in t-shirt and shorts. Our youngest is going back to school for the last time on Wed, so tomorrow will be a family day, probably walking along the coast to a dog-friendly beach [some ban dogs in the summer, others don't] ending up at a faviourite pub for lunch. We particularly like the cliffs around St. Agnes on the north coast, walking down to a small inlet where the cafe does hot chocolate and "hedgehogs" [ice creams with clotted cream studded with chopped almonds!!!].
Unless it rains!
