Heathrow Airport Hotel

We will be flying thru Heathrow from St. Petersburg to the states. What hotel would you suggest for an evening? Thanks so much. Jan

It entirely depends on your budget. There are many hotels close to the airport and most are certainly acceptable. Also - PriceLine is a good choice for LHR area hotels.

We had to spend the night once in London for a connection flight back home from Athens to LAX.

We stayed at the Sheraton Heathrow.
The rooms were inexpensive (by London standards), very clean, and the beds were very comfortable. We were extremely satisfied. You should check it out.

Highly recommend doing your homework and learning to use Priceline (see www.biddingfortravel.com).

I recently booked the Crowne Plaza at Heathrow on Priceline for $54US + tax & fees. Last year, we stayed there for $200US total which I booked on CP's web site. It's a great hotel for the Priceline price!

The Heathrow Hilton is the one hotel that is actually connected to the airport (terminal 4). If you are landing/departing from that terminal, it is very convenient.
