Heathrow
 

We have several hours of a stop over after a long haul flight. Can anyone tell me which hotels are on the site- near enough to walk to? we arrive 5am and the hoppa buses do not start till 6am.

Tony,<BR>The Hilton hotel is connected to Terminal 4 by a walkway - it is the only hotel with a direct connection to a terminal.

tony: The Hilton is ONLY walking distance from Terminal 4. The other 3 terminals are a very long way -- Terminal 4 is practically a different airport.<BR><BR>Don't worry about the Hoppa buses. First of all it will take you probaly 40-50 minutes or more from touch down to terminal so you won't have to wait long for a bus. And any nearby hotel will be within a 5 - 10 &pound; cab ride. So pick any hotel.

The Hilton is connected via a walk-way from Term 4 (takes about 6-7 min. to walk over). If you just have a couple of hours there are lots of stores at Heathrow to kill time in as well.

By the time you get thru immigration, get luggage, get thru customs, it will probably be cloes to 6 AM anyway.

thanks everyone. I am flying in from Bangkok with BA. Is there a specific terminal for this or do I just have to check with BA ( which usually involves being "on hold" for half an hour!!!)

Hi tony,<BR>The Bangkok flight will arrive at Terminal 4 which as other posters have advised is connected to the hilton. After clearing customs head up to the deapartures level and follow the signs.
