Heat Wave Suggestions: air conditioner won't fit in my suitcase!

So being the quintessential American and hearing about the heat wave in Europe, I trying to figure out what to take to deal with it, but the darn air conditioning unit won't fit in my suitcase! Any suggestions.

Check out Sharper Image. They have these things to put on your neck to keep you cool.

Also make sure your clothing is 100% cotton. Drink a lot. Cover your head. Sunglasses. Sunblock. Don't wear anything tight.

Lisa: Even if you got the AC into your suitcase, you'd need a steamer trunk for the converter:))). Regards, Walter

Take a hand-held paper fan for wandering around. You'd be amazed how much difference it makes.

You have never had to deal with a heatwave anytime in your life? I would think any quintessential American worth her salt would have.

Be creative. Use your imagination.

Take a block of ice.

The weather all over Europe is totally changeable. It's likely to be chilly by the time you get wherever it is you're going.
