I don't know if this is any help, but I know of two Americans, Greg and Stephanie, who run G-Spa, a spa at Oia, on the caldera below the Kastro - they might be able to refer you to a fitness center. Their phone numbers are (22860)71536, (6942)290822 (mobile).

For great exercise in Santorini run up and down the paths of the Caldera, walk back and forth from Fira to Oia, and take a long swim in the Agean. Otherwise do a google search for some upscale resorts and see if they have a gym. Starwoods has a posh property on the beach side of the island. I can't remember the name, it might have a gym.

Thanks for the leads, sv16 and yipper. I agree with yipper that there are plenty of ways to exercise without having to go to a gym. But my boyfriend likes to lift weights everyday. I'm looking for a bare bones Golds Gym kind of place.

The Starwood property on Santorini is Vedema Resort. It is expensive, but it has a fitness and spa center. Do a google search as there might be gyms in Fira, but I would not know about those, as I just like to bend my elbow. Have a great vacation.
