Heading to Paris TODAY! Restaurant suggestions??????

Hello all... Today I'm heading to Paris, so excited :D For a great meal in Paris at a traditional restaurant, spending ~$25 or less per person....anybody have suggestions on a great restaurant?

Which area are you staying in? That might give us a clue what to recommend near your hotel. Just about every street corner has a cafe /restaurant/bistro/ so don't panic!

I'm jealous! Have an awesome time.

I'm staying in the 11th...was there last summer, and returning because of the comfort of knowing the hotel. However, I didn't actually see the area around my hotel as I was with locals in different areas of the city.

Regardless...maybe the best meal you've eaten in Paris and where? Thanks :)

Le Caveau de L'Isle, 36 rue Saint-Louis en L'Isle, is a wonderful little restaurant with great food and friendly service. Their fixed prix menu was a steal at about 25EU, not including wine. The nicest place we found in Paris for dinner on a budget. You can search this TravelTalk and find other recommendations for it, too.

Bon voyage!

Hello...that menu looks yummy from what I can understand. What does Euros Prix net mean?

It means that what you see is what you pay. No tax, tip nonsense. Just what is written on the menu.

I second Le Caveau de L'Isle. I ate there just this past Wednesday and it was delicious.

I also recommend Le Souffle near the Madeline. It was heavenly. 2 fixed menus 29 and 33 euro. Worth every penny!

In the 11ème arrondissement my favorite is Le Rey, it is a brasserie at 130 Rue De La Roquette. Métro Voltaire. As we said in French "une valeur sur"
Bon appétit.

Le Polidor in the 6th. Metro Odeon. On Rue Monsieur Le Prince. Good traditional french food well priced.
