Having trouble booking TGV online

I am following MorganB's outstanding step by step train booking info to book Paris to Dijon two months from now. I want to take a TGV but when I put in my date and a time early in the day (so I can see all the possibilities), they only show me trains that take 3 hours to get there. I re-read the instructions and changed my search from "senior" to "adult" but I still got the name 3 hour train choices. I can't believe all the TGV tickets have been purchased in the first 24 hours one could book. So what am I doing wrong?

Which day did you try? I put 28 April and got at least more than 10 trains in the day time starting with 7:44 TGV. TGV takes about 1h40 and TER 2h50.

And I just randomly tried April 24 at 9 am and got a boatload of choices that get you there in under 2 hours, including one PREM fare at 20€.

I was trying to book for May 28, about 90 days out. Morgan's post of 2/16/07 says 90 days but maybe I misinterpreted it in some way.

Well, May 28 is more than 90 days out, so of course you can't book. Try tomorrow.

Robbie...forget the Internet...use the old trusty telephone (remember that?)..and call 800-438-7245...actually speak to a voice and get whetever you want in tix. I've used this several times great service.

Well I thought you wrote 2 months from now....

It has to be 90 days to the day! I know because I bought my tickets from Paris to Lausanne for May 22 last week on February 22 and got a great deal. 30 euros each way, much cheaper than going to the train station here and buying them ahead of time.

OOOPS! I'll be wearing a dunce cap for several days. When I learn to count I'll try again. Thanks for your patience.
