Thank you to everyone who so kindly informed me of their experiences and suggestions regarding "villa" accommodations in Tuscany.
After much research, my husband and I have decided to stay at Villa Belvedere which is located about 1.5 miles outside of Florence. This property received good reviews on Trip Adviser and we also like the idea of being able to walk to the center of Florence if we so desire. They also have beautiful views of Florence from the rooms located at the front of the property and we were able to reserve one of these rooms. So, we are looking forward to our stay at Villa Belvedere next month. We will be in Itay for three weeks and while there will try to visit Istanbul.
