Have you stayed at the Casa Morisca in Granada?
I am thinking of staying in the Morisca in Granada. The "Patio double rooms" face inward with no windows facing the street. These rooms are very reasonable. Has anyone stayed in this hotel to remark on these or the other rooms?

We are staying there in September. We have 1 patio room and 1 outward facing room. I have a feeling its all about being able to see the Alhambra, but maybe not. At any rate, this will bring you to the top and hopefully someone who knows will answer.

We stayed there last month and it was lovely. Our room had a slice of a view of the Alhambra from the balcony. It was very quiet, the breakfast was quite good, and it's in a perfect location. Get a Granada card for the buses because it's cheaper than paying each time, if you're going to be there a few days. Be sure and get your tickets to the Alhambra ahead of time online. Enjoy!

Nancy, we are thinking of getting one of the Patio rooms on the first floor that only face into the court yard. Did you get a chance to see any of these rooms? Also did you drive to the hotel? Thanks!

No, I didn't see any of those rooms, but I'm sure they're nice. I did like having a view though; from the bed we could see the Albaicin--the oldest part of town--which was very pretty. I am so glad we didn't have a car in Granada...you really don't need one. A cab took us very easily from the train station to our hotel, and everything in town is either walking distance or easily reached by buses that run continually every where you'd want to go. The hotel only has a few parking spaces but I seem to remember they tell you where to park your car, if you have one. Our last night we ate in newish restaurant around the corner from the hotel which was very good. Sorry, I can't remember the name, but when you're walking on the street toward the main square, you'll pass it. Very modern, so it stands out.
