Have you flown Sky Europe?

In searching for a Switzerland to Hungary airfare, I kept coming up with $400 plus until I stumbled over Sky Europe at $50 plus. WOW! Is this too good to be true? Are they a reputable, Soutwest kind of airline?

Vera,

I gave you the info re: Skyeurope in your other post. Haven't flown Skyeurope (yet), but I work in the travel industry in Switzerland and yes, Skyeurope is definitely a "reputable" airline - they really exist, have been in business for close to 2 years, appear to be well-funded and have not been the source of significant complaints to/by travel agents.

As with all small airlines, IF there is a mechanical problem, delays can be significant because there they won't have a "spare" plane parked at the airport to take up the slack. But IMO the huge difference in fares more than makes up for this!

Hope this helps,
Andre

I've booked with Sky Europe UK to Slovakia (its a Slovakian Airline if you didn't know). Flying Sunday 12th, I can post again once I return, 3 weeks from now.

You shouldn't worry about booking. The company is one of the new breed of low cost - no frills airlines. Internet only booking, meals not included, etc.
