Sorry about the bad word play but I am planning to make a home exchange for the summer in Sardinia, and I thought somebody out there had been there and tell me their experiences..good and bad.

Patrick I think the questions should read Is Sardinia a good place to go for 2 weeks alone without a car. Is there enough to keep yourself entertained?

Never done it, but can't wait to hear about your experience.... both with home-exchange (been thinking about doing it with my vacation home) <b>and</b> Sardinia, which is high on my list of places to go!

I suggest that you NOT make an exchange for a condo in Sardinia because the rain in Sardinia falls mainly on the condominia.

Sardinia is wonderful, but unless you just want to sit on a beach at some resort for the whole time, I can't imagine not having a car. Public transportation is almost non-existant.
