In Mexico, they are starving. I live in San Diego and the poverty in Tijuana is very sad. There is no SSI or Govt' help programs, which is why we have such an illegal immigration problem. Yes, the beggars at the border crossing are probably shills for parents. However, drive down any side street and see the real poverty. Do I sound like a bleeding heart ? Actually, I'm not. It is impossible to solve all the world's problems.
