Has anyone used this apartment in Rome?

We are interested in the apartment listed on the Sleep in Italy web site listed as Via Brunetti in Piazza di Spagna. If anyone has stayed in this apartment, I would love to hear your comments. Thanks

We have booked it for the spring so I would love to hear also.

cparris, did you get any additional information when you were booking the apartment, and how was Sleep in Italy to deal with? This isn't my first choice of locations, but having two bathrooms appeals to me.

We did get more information. They don't have satalite tv. Remember it is a walk up. We had no problem dealing with sleep in italy.

I'm on the fence about putting down a deposit on this apartment for early June. It is a fourth-floor walkup, but it has AC. I'm suspicious of how cheap it is! Any thoughts? http://www.sleepinitaly.com/files/apt_brunetti.html

I also looked at that apt for our trip in September and thought it looked like a good value. Check slowtrav.com to see if they might have a review. I was looking at an apartment for 7 or 8 adults and booked Reginella and Bologna at realrome.com for 6 nights in September. I read a post on Fodors reommending realrome and liked their website and quick response. You can also see on their web site what days are available for each apartment.

Don't forget that fourth floor walk-up is like a fifth floor to most of us.
About the second time I ran downstairs to pick up a carton of milk from the little store around the corner, returned to the apartment and had to go out to get the butter I had forgotten and returned again-- I think that would be the end of my enjoyment of a fifth floor walk-up. And after walking all day all over Rome until my feet are ready to fall off, or after walking back from dinner in Trastevere late at night, the last thing I want to see is five flights of stairs.

That's the thing -- the stairs. My office is on the fifth floor and I walk up the stairs at least once a day, but, I agree, every time you go out could get old.

Unfortunately, there is no review of this apartment on Slow Trav.

Thanks for the Real Rome rec Eurotravl
