Has anyone used Priceline.com for a hotel in London ?
I have never been to London, traveling solo. I have never had such a difficult time picking a hotel, I have searched endless hours for a hotel that gets good consistant reviews, but nothing is standing out, calling my name, stay here, stay here ! I would like to stay in a nice hotel in a great location, nearby shopping, cafes & see the sites. My price range is $200 (US). Has anyone used Priceline.com to get a great 5 star hotel for a reasonable price ? Should I would be willing to take a chance with priceline and leave the picking to them as long as the hotel is great, at a great price ????

Hi Gretchen, we stayed at the Thistle Caring Cross for 105$ a night through Priceline... great hotel, in a fab location. We bid on a 4 star in Mayfair/Covent Garden area. I don't think you can go wrong bidding this area! FYI, Judy
