You are all so helpful. Sarastro... Let me know if you try the La Poule Au Pot.
For this offer ... do you lay out $ or euros when you purchase?
Or, Do you just make reservations and by doing that you get the 30% off when you arrive?
Groupons that I have used in the USA are purchased beforehand.
example: A voucher that costs $30. allows for food up to $60. value etc.

I am so CONFUSED by the French language. Can't find anywhere on the site to change into English.

<< Can't find anywhere on the site to change into English.>>

At the top right of the home page is a round icon with the colors of the French flag. Click on the down-pointing arrow to the right of it and scroll down and click on English.

Agree that food in Paris is not especially expensive. Of coure you can spend a fortune for a deluxe dinner at *** restaurant - but you can do that anywhere in the world. There are hundreds of casuale cafes and brasseries for light meals and innumerable more simple restaurants with good food.

Agree that the restaurants that offer these are usually in a difficult situation - poor food, bad location - if you are lucky just starting up - but more likely ready to close down. (There is quite a bit of bad food in Paris - just like a lot of other cities.)
