Has anyone used easyJet?
Hi,
I am trying to find an economical flight from London to Edinburgh. I saw easyJet on the internet, and wondered if anyone has ever used them and if so how was the experience?

Also, does anyone know of good fares from London to Edinburgh?
Thanks!

Ann

Where did you find info on the net about Easy Jet. I looked and looked (using Google and Yahoo) but couldn't find anything.

Thanks!

easyjet.com

Flew from Aberdeen to London, perfectly fine and cheap. Easyjet customers get Green Coach r/t ticket from Luton to Victoria station (and a few stops in between like Marble Arch) for £5.

I'm using them regularly between Geneva and various European cities. Inexpensive fares if booked early, very convenient, usually on time. No service on board but the longest flight is usually 1 hour 1/2.

www.easyjet.com

I've flown easyjet Belfast-Liverpool twice with no problems. Service was fine and the flights left on time.

I did however, encounter a problem recently. I had to cancel a Liverpool-Barcelona flight due to illness. I was told that I would be refunded the ticket price, minus a handling charge. That was in January, and I still haven't received the refund.

BTW, it's www.easyjet.com

Also try Go Airlines who fly from Stanstead. Flew with them to Edinburgh last year. Plane left on time and I got a good deal on car hire through them as well
I think the web address is www.go-fly.com.
One thing to watch about Easyjet is the way their prices fluctuate. They say on the web page that prices go up as planes fill up, but in fact, I have seen the prices go up and then back down. I bought tickets and was surprised to see the available fare go down later on. I complained by email and got a refund. Easyjet will give you the lower fare consistent with their "Best Price" promise, but usually you have to go through their call center to get it.

GoFly is a British Airways affiliate, and I know some people who refuse to use it because they feel it's BA's attempt to squash low-fare competition.

Thanks for the web address info folks (well...duh!).

Yes. I love EasyJet and I love Stelios (EasyGroup's fantastic owner) - because of him, I can escape from London to Geneva sunshine every summer for less money and time than it takes to get up to Manchester.

Not like I'd ever *want* to go to Manchester . . . book it, Dano!
