Has anyone taken the Sita Padova to VCE Bus?

We have an early flight out from Venice Airport (VCE), and we will be coming from a two-day stay in Padova (Padua). We know we can take the train to Mestre and then either a shuttle or a taxi in, but I'm more interested in the direct Sita bus, which runs at least once an hour and takes an hour and 5 minutes.

I have the website, I have the schedule, etc, but I'm interested in the experience. Has anyone taken this bus? Even if you took it in reverse from VCE to Padova, I would like to hear about your experience.

Thank you.

Yes, we did. Very convenient. They run every 1/2 hour and it was inexpensive, under €5 or so. Bus station is next to the train station in Padua.

Bless you, Treesa. I had this gut feeling it would be easier.

Thank you.

For information for others, we had to get to VCE from Mestre for the same flight last year when we took the train from Trieste. The bus from Mestre did not arrive on time, and it took us a bit to get a taxi, and that is why I was looking for a "no-brainer" method.
