Has anyone taken the Elafiti & Green Islands tour from Dubrovnik?

We are traveling in September to Croatia and thought this tour (Cruise of the Elafiti & Green Islands from Dubrovnik-departing from the Elite Travel Dubrovnik office) sounded kind of interesting (although it isn't clear that you get off the boat at the three islands). It isn't really cheap and they say it is a 10-hour deal. Thanks in advance for any info. Shirley

Jadrolinija's regular ship sails up to five times a day to the Elafiti islands - Lopud, Kolcep and Sipan. You can do it as a day trip or an afternoon trip, spending time ashore at one or more of the islands. There's no need to book in advance and fares are very reasonable.
www.jadrolinija.hr will have schedules, but I think they only have the winter schedules now.

We were in Croatia last year and took a trip to the Elafiti Islands, there are lots of boats going out from the harbour several times a day, they are very inexpensive, dont tie yourself into any 10hour day, as you can see them morning or afternoon on maybe two different days, they are absolutely beautiful and i'm sure you'll love them, good luck in Dubrovnik, its a truly beautiful place.

Thanks Lucielou, this sounds like a pretty good plan. Where else in Croatia did you travel? We start in Zagreb and end up in Dubrovnik. Everything we have read leads us to believe this is going to be a marvelous country to visit. Shirley
