Has anyone taken a burchiello trip up the Brenta canal?
After many stays in Venice, we finally got to Murano, Burano and Torcello last time (loved Murano.) In October, I am thinking of doing a boat trip on the Brenta to see the Palladian villas from the water. There seem to be many permutations on offer including which direction you go and whether you devote a half or whole day, have lunch etc. Has anyone done this cruise?

We did the half day trip though lunch as at that time the only Paaladian villa (La Malcontenta) was seen in the morning. The half trip option wasn't listed but we asked for it. Took the bus back from the restaurant where the boat docked. Easy.
The boat trip was lovely, La Malcontenta beautiful and I highly recommend this trip.

We did it a few years ago, the full day trip and thoroughly enjoyed it. We shared a lunch table with a French couple and a Spanish couple.
The French couple only spoke French and the Spanish couple spoke Italian and some English. I speak some French and Italian.Somehow we managed to put the world to rights between us.
