Has anyone stayed in these B&Bs?

My plans for my trip in may 2002 are almost done. I've picked the B&Bs to stay in but would feel more comfortable hearing from anyone who has stayed in any of the B&Bs below.
Boyne View - Slane
The Hall Greene - Lifford
Ardawn or A Aaron - Galway
Apple Croft House or Crystal Springs - Killarny which one is closer to town?
Ladyswell House - Cashel
Cherry Brook - Avoca
Hollytree House - Swords
Thanks for the help, Diane

Diane-we stayed at Crystal Springs in Killarney last Summer. It was lovely.
The rooms are really nice, there is a nice river out back and the breakfast was fancy and delicious-esp. those lemon pancakes!! We would stay there again. It took us about 20 minutes to walk to town. It could take you 5 min. less or 10 min. longer depending on how fast you walk-we were strolling.

In Cashel we had wanted to stay at Ladyswell House but we needed 5 rooms and they have only 4. It looks great on the web site. But, we were THRILLED with Legends Guesthouse!! They have a gourmet restaurant inside and the food was to die for!!! Rosemary was wonderful to us (we were a group of 10)Will stay there again too! Here is their web site: www.legendsguesthouse.com
Hope this helps.
Shadow

I have stayed at both the Boyne view in Slane and the Hollytree in Swords.

The Boyne View is just after passing the Boyne River as you go into Slane. Very nice. We had the room without the bath, but since it was the only one, the bath down the hall was just like being ours. Very friendly. Nice view. Visit the ruined church at the top of the hill. We asked for a place to eat and they recommended a nearby hotel restaurant. Very big portions. If you go to Newgrange, go back across the river (to the south side). Our map showed that you could get there from the north side, and you can't.

Hollytree House had recently opened. Very friendly. Great location for getting to the Dubln Airport. We had a room at the back of the B&B which was quieter.

In Killarney, we enjoyed the Redwoods B&B, but it is a little out of town.

I second Shadows rave review of Legends Guesthouse. The food , location, and hospitality were tops!

Diane, We stayed at the Applecroft House in Killarney and it was wonderful. We stayed in the "poets corner" room and it was very pretty with a large bathroom and this room had sliding doors opening onto a small patio over-looking the flower garden. Kathy was a great hostess and the breakfasts were good. We walked into Killarney each day and it took about 10 minutes. There is a pub a few blocks away--Flaherty's. A tour of Muckross House was nice, try riding there in a jaunty wagon. We drove the ring of Kerry from this point. Killarney is nice.
