Has anyone stayed at the Hotel des Tuileries

Staying at the Hotel des Tuileries in early August.
Looking for peoples reviews.

Thx!

Do you mean the one on rue Hyacinthe?
Haven't stayed there but I had booked it once several years ago, decided to stay somewhere else but went to check out that hotel anyway for future visits.
I didn't care for it.
The rooms were minuscule-ly small imo, and the bathroom so small that two people couldn't stand abreast. Decor lovely. Corridors so narrow that one person had to flatten himself against a wall to let the other one go by.
On the day I was there, the one elevator was out of order. That of course may just have been a one-time thing, but the steps were steep, narrow, and winding. Great overall location though.
I felt for the money I have done better elsewhere.

We stayed there several years ago and were not pleased. The rooms were decent but the street was very loud at night due to the nightclub across the street. It was not a place I looked forward to returning to in the evening. The staff were not particularly helpful.

oh dear
two negatives in a row.
If you want a right bank hotel with great location, look at the Louvre St Romain or the Louvre Montana, both on rue St Roch. I haven't stayed at either in a while, but in the past I liked them both. The St Romain lacked charm perhaps, but it was clean, and the location just can't be beat. Louvre Montana had nicer decor last time.

Or, go to the left bank and stay at the Le Regent or D'Aubusson, to name two.
