Has anyone stayed at the Abbatial St. Germain Hotel (Paris) in Room #55??

I am asking because that's the room the hotel has booked for us. I know it has a balcony. But how comfortable is the room size and bathroom? Don't want to be cramped and want to know what to expect.

Thanks!!

I have stayed in this exact room plus one other at this hotel. 55 is fabulous. And the location of the hotel is perfect as well. Also, the staff is great about booking tours etc. fro you. You'll love it.

Thanks CT. Can you elaborate as to how the room looks? And is the bathroom large-do they provide shampoo & soap and is there a shower guard, etc?? Thanks.

The room is the one shown at their web site - you can get a good look at it there. It is a corner room. The room is what I consider large by European 3-star standards. There is a mini-fridge, safe and hair dyrer. There is a shower door. Really, you can't go wrong. I'm sure there was soap, don't remember about shampoo.

Thanks much CT. I got dissed about asking about if there were soap & shampoo by a snide poster the other day. I was only curious that's all. I can provide my own.
