Has anyone stayed at Hotel Capo d' Orso in Sardinia?
 

I have made reservations (after a lot of looking) at Capo d' Orso for part of my honeymoon. I have not found any reviews or any information on the hotel (besides on their website). Any help would be appreciated.

JG - We stayed nearby on Capo D'Orso and checked out the Hotel Capo d'Orso for a future visit. We were very impressed - I'm sure you'll be delighted.

I have the hotel brochure here. Apparently it's ranked among the best in Italy for cuisine.

The setting is a delight with it's own private beach. Very exclusive.

How did you get over to the Hotel?

We had a hire car.

I have checked it out when staying elsewhere as it was full. Very beautiful spot. Not the prestige of Porto Cervo but not the outrageous prices either. Very pretty beaches next to the property which were quiet at the time we were there - just at end of season. Hotel is surrounded by trees so you will not have sea views necessarily. Near to Palau which is OKish but offers some choice of restaurants - again sensibly priced and you can hop on a ferry to Maddalena and check that out.
