Has Anyone Seen "La Môme"?

This film is astounding. It is now in the cinemas in France, for anyone who will be coming soon. I understand it will be opening in the States shortly.

Marion Cotillaud doesn't play Piaf, she has become her. I have a feeling this film will sweep awards.

I strongly recommend it.

Yes, it is quite a good movie. Even though the French Academy awards are not until tomorrow (one day before the American Academy Awards), I already feel confident that Marion Cotillard will win the "César" for best actress in 2008 -- one year from now, even though she is an actress that did not particularly impress me before.

It should be noted that the title for international release is "La Vie en Rose."

Thanks, Kerouac. I had read that about the title, but I had forgotten.

For those who do not know who Cotillaud is, she is the woman Russel Crowe likes in A very Good Year.

And the name is still Cotillard.
