Has anyone rented apts. with Rental in Rome

I need to rent a two bedroom (preferably two bathroom) apartment for a 9-day stay in February and saw a great place listed with
Rental In Rome.

Have any of you fodorites rented through this company. I would like to know if your expereince was positive and if they are reputable.

I have already contacted Domus Int'l but their places are too pricey.
Thank for any help.

We rented through them in June. Excellent service. Prompt responses, easy to deal with, etc. Everything went perfectly. They arrainged for a limo to pick us up at the airport & deliver us to the apt where someone was waiting to meet us, show is around, explain things, etc.

Take a look at the apartment we rented for next June. It is a two bedroom, two bathroom apartment well located in Trastevere.

I don't know anything about Rental in Rome but have been satisfied with my dealings with sleepinitaly.

Hi...
We rented through Rental in Rome in April and took the 2 bdrm, 2 bath Trastevere apt (Lungaaretta). We were pleased with the service and response they provided and actually booked apartments in Venice and Florence through them as well.
The Trastevere apartment is a bit "funky" but worked out well, especially the neighborhood, location for visiting everything easily and many transportation options. Also, some very good restaurants, fornos, delis and once we found it...a wonderful supermarket (Standa), as well as an easy walk to Campo de Fiore.
The funkiness is in the apartment layout. One bedroom & bath is in a small cottage on the terrace (also contains the washing machine). You have to go outside to get to the room, but in good weather it was no problem. The other bedroom, which looks strange in the photos...is! It is a large room with a wide marble stairway leading to a sleeping loft. Sounds OK, but the loft doesn't have a pitched ceiling, so one need to stoop to get to the bed (I am 5'3" and needed to stoop). Once in bed, it is comfortable. We 2 couples had a very good time and loved the area. Probably would go back even knowing the idiosyncracies.
Would love to know what you decide on.

Thanks everyone for your responses. I will also check into "sleepinginitaly.com." The apartment Judi recommended looks perfect for us, price, space and location. I am going to contact them. It is also near via del moro where one of my favorite restaurants is located!
Rental in Rome also presented a very nice apartment that meets our specs near to the Campo Fiori.
I read a reveiw of Rental in Rome on slow travel where someone felt that got a "bait and switch" at the last minute. I didn't want to have the same thing happen to me.

We decided to rent with sleepinitaly.com because I read a lot of good reviews on slowtrav.com.

Judi: I rented the same apartment in Trastevere that you stayed in - the place looks great, space is perfect and the price was right. Anything that you could share about the apartment and neighborhood would be appreciated.

I usually stay with my friend near the Pantheon- I am familiar with Trastevere but welcome any new recommendations. We'll also have two teens with us so any good recommendations for places for them is also appreciated.
Thanks

Hi risab,

You will be in the apartment before we are as we will not be there until June. I hope the apartment meets or exceeds our expectations.

Have a great trip!

This would be a better way of bookmarking threads you want to go back and review.
