Has anyone gone to Sardinia or Corsica in November?

I know it's off season, the weather might be rainy, but I'm interested anyway. Any input?

November is a very off season month. It can be cold and dreary. Most of the restaurants are closed as well as many of the hotels. I lived there for several years and each November was essentially the same. The winds may be bad at that time and you may have difficulty with a ferry crossing from Sardinia to Corsica or vice versa. Best times are the early Fall or late Spring.

Phyllis,

Yvonne is giving you good advice. When the rains set in with winds, the ferries are cancelled until the seas are safe.

We were stranded overnight in Capri in late November several years ago. Finally, 36 hours after the storm started a car ferry was able to dock from Naples.

Save your money for a more pleasant time of the year.

Is October considered an off-month as well for Sardegna and Corsica? Grazie, merci : )
