Has anyone flown with Airone and AlpiEagles?

I am looking for reasonably priced flights for next April to Sicily from Rome and and from Sicily to Naples and have discovered Airone and Alpieagles. Has anyone any experience of either of these airlines? Are they reliable with their flights and with online bookings?
Any information would be gratefully received.

We flew AirOne from Pisa to Sicily and back in late September. The reservations were honored (we made them over the phone rather than on line as the website was malfunctioning the day we reserved). Both flights to and from Sicily were on time and efficient and I would fly AirOne again without hesitation - especially to Sicily which was fabulous!

I've flown with AlpiEagles from Naples to Palermo (and vice versa). It was fine as far as short-haul air experiences go! Everything was on time - comfortable flight and no problems with booking. It is such a short flight anyway, but I wouldn't hesitate to use them again.

Thank you mamc and vnh - it is always a relief to hear that others'experiences have been OK.

Have also used these services, but even WindJet flies from Rome to Catania, Sicily if that would also be helpful? Bit like RyanAir :) But good and reliable for us.

We flew from Naples to Nice on Alpi Eagles during the summer of 2004. I think we reserved online and called to confirm later. The only problem was a delay of about an hour on the runway waiting for take off. Don't pay extra for first class. We thought about it ( I think overweight luggage fee was waived if you were a first class passenger) and were glad we didn't since there didn't appear to be any difference at all in seats except that you sat at the front of the cabin. They never weighed luggage anyway - wished I had bought a few more things in Sorrento!

I have flown Air One from Venice to Rome years ago and I found it really good, much better than Alitalia.

Last month we took an AirOne flight from Brindisi in Puglia to Milan. Our flights were booked online about more than a month in advance.

It was an uneventful flight, easy check-in procedures with our online printed confirmation and it was on time.
