Has anyone eaten the roast duck with olives at Aux Charpentiers?
I tried asking this question before, and it didn't go through, so am trying again. Could someone who has eaten the roast duck with olives at Aux Charpentiers tell me if the dish is served well done or rare? I know I could ask for it to be served "bien cuit", but I'm just curious if it's served crispy and brown like roast chicken or rare, as I've noticed magret de canard is.

sandypaws, if you cant' find your post because there have been so many new ones since you posted, all you have to do when you get to this page is click on your screen name next to where it says "welcome" and it will bring up all your posts in the left hand column.

Hi, Patrick... Thanks! Actually, I did click on my screen name several times yesterday, after I posted it, and neither message had gone through. It's a mystery to me Although I post quite often on Fodor's, it's usually in response to someone else's message, so I haven't quite gotten the knack of posting my own question. Sometimes it works, and other times it doesn't. Perhaps it's just what you said, there have been so many other messages since I posted that my question gets lost. Thanks again for the help
