sap, it'll probably be a few years until I'm actually finished cleaning the place up and fixing it to sell!

If you are still interested in buying in Croatia and want a contact let me know via this forum. My husband worked with a British woman who has moved to Croatia with her husband and they live and work there now. They are in the travel/tourism business and I know advertising here is not allowed but I guess I could give you their contact details via email if that would help. Sounds like you are keener on La Rochelle now...good luck with it.

StCirq:
I am a Croatian/American living in Dubrovnik for the past several years. As an EU citizen, it's not that difficult to buy here. However, there are many agents lacking in ethics and only a scant few who are reliable. I can furnish you more details and first hand experiences. Please do contact me if you or anyone would like more info.

Everything here is always for sale, at the right price. There are 2 Buza bars, the one you enjoy is the best. Perhaps next year, would love to see you try to drink the profits. I've been doing a blog about Dubrovnik, would love to hear any comments you may have. Next time, I'm buying at Buza!

This info is probably of no value now; however, there was a poster
here a couple of years ago who bought and moved to Istria.

IIRC (and most likely I don't) her moniker was 'live42day' or
similar and she was from northern Canada. A foodie. Anyhoodle.

StCirq!

I hope that you still have my contact if you decided (after all) to buy house/apartments in Croatia. Houses and places are now here really cheaper than ever. I think that next year will started to jump, but that is only my prognoses :)
Have a nice day..

ericabrown, a new poster with only one post

Do you suppose this is another cleverly-disguised ad? :)
