Harrods at Frankfurt Airport
 

We will have a 45 minute layover at Frankfurt, and would like to be able to shop 5 minutes or so at the Harrods store. <BR><BR>Does anyone know if it will be possible to dash to Harrods or if it is out of the question on only 45 minutes ? We'll be flying Lufthansa, if that gives you any idea of what terminal we will be. It's been years since I've been there, so I don't remember ...<BR><BR>thanks<BR><BR>-s teve

Been awhile since I've looked around the airport but check out the airports website and look for the map...that should give you an idea on distance between your terminal and the place you want to go. Good luck.

Perfectly doable, although you'll need to exit the security area (in my opinion no big deal). It's in a shopping area between areas A and B, which are the ones LH uses anyway, so, with any luck, you'll pass it while you are connecting.

I am afraid it WOULD be a very big deal. 45 minutes is literally nothing. If you have to leave airside (inside security) it can take 30 to 45 mins to go back through security.<BR><BR>Unless your inbound flight arrives very early I would not recommend leaving the security area.
