Best wishes for the new year to all fodorites of every persuasion. My resolution is to have a [REALLY] big yard sale and make enough for a trip to Paris in 2001. Oh, yes, and to meet a gentleman who wants to go with me! Stay safe new year's eve.

Shanna, best wishes to you. Thanks to Fodor and Fodorites, I don't have to limit my trip to Europe to once a year--I have it every day right here.

Happy New Year to all from a suburb near Chicago Illinois which now resembles pictures I have seen of glacier areas near the poles, but with tops of trees sticking out. Hope we can dig out and get a break before work on Tuesday. Dreaming of my trip to Italy in spring 2001 and of the flowers I will see blooming there. God Bless Everyone and keep them safe.

May your flights all be on time, your luggage arrive when you do, the hotel be even nicer than you expected, all the sights and museums be open and not too crowded, the restaurants have wonderful service and food, your camera work perfectly, and no harm come to you.<BR><BR>A toast to all of you for your wonderful help and advice (well, mostly, except to that rotten Art who's made me add eastern Europe to my list of places to visit that's already too long) and your recounts of trips that assure me I'm not the only lunatic who thinks travel is worth every penny.
