Handsome Waiters in Paris

Which restaurant in Paris gets your vote for the dreamiest waiters? This could help me settle on a few places to dine :)

Perhaps I'm going to the wrong restaurants, but I don't see a lot of handsome waiters in Paris. Professional, old-school, handle bar-moustached waiters, some with a great deal of personality and some gruff, but handsome, no not so much. In general, Parisiens care too much about their food to trust the service in a restaurant to a pretty, inexperienced server.

For handsome waiters, go to Italy...

The waiters at this place are absolute Adnonises* (the website's in French, but it has the reservations number on it):

Every time we go to Paris we make it a point to go to La Petite Zinc and I have always observed that they have the most handsome waiters of any other place. We go there for the great food and the wonderful service we have always received, along with the crepe suzette for dessert, but the waiters are awfully handsome too.

Hmmmm..does it matter if they are married or not?

There was a very handsome, charming waiter at Le Reminet, in the 4th arr. a couple of years ago.

I did see a few others, but don't remember the restaurants and don't remember ever seeing one with a handle bar moustache.

Good suggestions, everyone! Dukey, since I'll only be looking, it makes no difference to me if they're married or not.

The George V - we didn't eat but had a drink in the piano lounge - and Robert Duvall was having a drink at the neat seating area. The waiters were young, cute and attentive!! of course we were 3 attractive women!

And I believe that he was serving lunch one fine day in May last year.... :)

Isn't this the mirror concept of "Hooters"... ?

Handsome waiters? In New York City I vote for the restaurant called Cookshop. There was one a few weeks ago who left me speechless and he was young enough to be my son!

What about the food-is that important or just the waiters?

For handsome waiters, you need to go to fashionable cafés like Café Beaubourg (at Beaubourg), Café de la Musique (at La Villette), the De La Ville Café across from the Grand Rex or the Bataclan Café near the canal Saint Martin. In such places, young waiters are mostly waiting to be discovered for fashion shows or just about any other well remunerated activity.

If you are ever in Munich at the Hilton Englischer Garten check out a particular Mr. Handsome working at the bar...my aunt and i almost caved for a third round of overpriced gin/tonics when he winked at us.

Dukey, it shouldn't matter. My friend (a former parisan) once commented, "What real Frenchman cannot juggle at least two women at once?!" (He was disgusted at another French guy who passed on a gal to go back to his ex-girlfriend.)
